July 06, 2006 David Hasselhoff gets kicked out of Wimbledon
David Hasselhoff was reportedly kicked out of Wimbledon because he was too drunk, forcing a guard to walk him off the tournament grounds after he repeatedly got in arguments with the security staff.
First, the 53-year-old actor had a blazing row outside Centre Court. Guards would not let him in because he did not have a valid ticket. Then he was banned from press and players bars as he tried to get another drink. Hasselhoff, who has fought a long battle with booze, yelled at staff: You should let me in. Do you know who I am? Im The Hoff. Hasselhoff then downed beer after beer and was later seen staggering... Security chiefs ordered Hoff out. One guard said: He was steaming drunk.
If I was David Hasslehoff I'd be asking every single person I ran into if they knew who I was, and then I'd follow it up with "I'm The Hoff" and then punch them in the stomach and continue on my way. When you're David Hasselhoff you get to do shit like that. It's in the manual, right after step 1 of being The Hoff: maintain 80's perm throughout all stages of life.
Thanks to Jake for the tip, and for trying - but failing - to be as manly as The Hoff.
Sounds like John Kerry has found his perfect running mate. Uncle Teddy would certainly give his ok.
What a has been.
Pathetic. But it's another case
of too much success too soon, and
being horn-swoggled into believing
your own press releases.
A 54 year old child actor.
Way to go, sporto. That's how adults handle problems. Pretty sad that a 53 year old needs a lecture on how to act. If you're going to get drunk and act like a freak, at least have the common courtesy to do it at home when the wife is out of town.
Now we know how he got the H"ass"elhoff name, or is "hassel"hoff.
It's persons like this that give alcohol a bad rap.
Hasselhoff was finally let in when actor and friend Michael Brandon bought him a centre court ticket to watch Roger Federer play.
People like him keeps the The Soup on the air...

Friends don't let Friends Shave Drunk!
In his defense, what else is there to do at a tennis match? ;-)
Seriesly though...the guy runs around calling himself "The Hoff", so I'm guessing that he has a slight ego problem along with the booze problem.
At least he didn't do this: http://us.news3.yimg.com/us.i2.yimg.com/p/ap/20060704/capt.305dba53968c47949b2070f8999a2c80.aptopix_britain_wimbledon_tennis_xwim116.jpg?x=253&y=345&sig=gRS83ogAQmXZZfNJDt2EKQ--
He's currently one of the judges in "Americas Got Talent!". Is this a requirement? Wasnt Paula Abdul kind of drunk once on American Idol?
Hasslehoff = Sheisskopf
ROFL. Good one.
Yep. Booze wins.
Hasselhoff developed an inferiority complex (at least it grew into huge proportions) when getting into conversations with a Pontiac Trans-Am with a flashing light across the front of its hood. The car was ALWAYS a lot smarter, and never failed to remind "Michael" of the fact.
"old actor was shaving at a London gym bathroom when he hit his head on a chandelier"?
What?,...was he LEAPING and shaving? How do you hit your head on a chandelier while you're shaving? Perhaps it was a wall sconce?
"Friends don't let Friends Shave Drunk!" ROFL.
Had a hit record in Dusseldorf about twenty years ago...drives a car that looks like a phallic symbol...now crashes Wimbledon with a fake ticket and boozed to the gills. Maybe we should make him our ambassador to Uzbekistan.
That would imply he ever was.
When I think of Hasselhoff being an actor, somehow I think of William Shatner. How did either of these guys ever have a career?
