Nevermind, their winter is mild. It's like being in Florida.. 30th degree latitude or thereabouts.

Thanks for all of the threads!

I knew I wasn't alone;) But for each of us there are those who won't watch college football.
Right now I am getting ready to change channels, seeing hundreds of people huddled along one side of a dividing rope to watch another guy hit a little white ball into a hole in the ground is not my cup of tea.

"We didnt even score a goal against Italy."
Sure it was an own goal.
But then that's the only goal in free play that the Italian conceded throughout the entire tournament.
And it can be argued that the Italian defender was trying to clear the ball, while Italy was under US attack, before he put the ball in his own net.

Very disappointed in Zidane, I hate that it had to come down to penalty kicks. France dominated in extra time, but that's the way it goes.
So now it's on to South Africa for 2010.

To Be World Champions means....
...To Be the Best!

"PK's decided 1990 Brazil/Italy at the Rose Bowl"
I think that was in '94. Italy lost in penalty kicks to Brazil.
Zidane exits the World Cup and Football in disgrace.

They made us very, very proud, and the rest of the world green with envy.
Like I said in another post: To be world champions means to be the best.
Viva l'italia!

"For the finals, I think if it ends in a tie, they should play the next day."
I like that idea. But what if they tie again? A third final?
