It would have been nice to have had greater visibility for the episode that had the Mohammed footage censored by the network while permitting crude scenes of Jesus and the US flag.

Political correctness will be our downfall.

Didn't this episode get pulled due to the lawsuit? Is it visible anywhere?

Odd that this one is being considered for an award since it was far from the funniest episode of the season. The Katrina lampoon, and the death of Chef, and even 'Smug' were funnier episodes than this one. That being said, it was funny, and absolutely skewered the crap out of $cientology.

A good friend of mine who lives and works in Hollywierd says there is a subtle undercurrent of animosity that is developing against $cientology within the film industry. Apparantly many feel that the church of $cientology injecting itself so brazenly into the Hollywierd culture and business dealings is against their best interests. I know nothing about it, I'm just going on what he tells me but he says there is definitely some major anti-$cientology feelings developng hard in Tinsletown. This somewhat explains why this episode picked in a rabidly PC Hollywierd.

Geez, now I will have to force myself to watch the Emmy show. Hope Parker and Stone show up for it. (wheeled in, in a closet?)

Check out this link: www.affinity-international.org. It looks like the COS is reaching out to the gay community--a radically new and unprecedented move for the Church. The COS (and Hubbard) have NEVER condoned or supported homosexuality. I wonder if the TC episode inspired them to change their tune towards gays.
