This is continuing the “Freddy Gets Detention” story. I hope the text is readable to everyone: I guess my handwriting got a little sloppy that day.
On the rare occasions where I would get detention, this is sort of how I remember it. It’s like being chained up in a dungeon, only it’s more of a tiny filthy classroom downstairs below the gym.
And since you’re now a criminal, you are berated to shame by whatever sadistic coach is watching over you.
Really?!??!! I thought the store would be closed. Are you guys expecting a mad dash tomorrow?
Probably.
I don't know how it was back in the day, but for most retail stores now, Christmas is the only day of the year they're closed. Even Thanksgiving is an open day.
We're opened less hours on holidays, though. Tomorrow we're opened from 9 to 5.
Which means that's the full shift all employees work...which means I have to get up early...which means I've got to get going.

Hey Phil! Happy I-Day! It's very cool here today. Sunny, but cool. It's close to 6:30pm, so it'll probably be cold tonight for the fireworks. Not sure if we're going out or not yet. I take it you're not going out this evening because of the storms? Are they even having fireworks there?

I just went outside and saw a very impressive display, but most of them seem to have died down now.
