Its time to celebrate our great nation's independence yet again. Hopefully we will all take a few moments to reflect on how far we have come since our country was founded, the freedoms we hold so dear, and how thankful we are to live in the land of the free.
What are some memorable 4th of July vacations or events that you have enjoyed?
Where are you planning on travelling, and what are you planning on doing for the 4th of July this year?

Hey there!
I hate when my birthday falls so close to the 4th of July. It always seems to get overlooked.

Pretty good, although the 4th of July time has been brutal.

Yeah? Did they make you watch the Electronics Dept. today?
To: Maximus_Ridiculousness
I managed to escape, but they got the other two people in my department a lot.
In fact, my department head was mad when I got to work; they were calling her there ALL DAY.

TGIF greeting to everyone who has shown up thus far!
Nice job of post Proud_Yank. LOVE the flag pic (will be snagging for pledge use for Finest).
Had wonderful weather this past week after monsoon the prior week. Basement is still a mess & it is chaos in house where I have dragged about 40 boxes to see what is salvageable.
no trips for this weekend but will attend a patriotic concert, some fireworks & do dinner/movie with friend tomorrow PM

Sounds like they need to hire more people. Do you know if they plan to?
