Its time to celebrate our great nation's independence yet again. Hopefully we will all take a few moments to reflect on how far we have come since our country was founded, the freedoms we hold so dear, and how thankful we are to live in the land of the free.
What are some memorable 4th of July vacations or events that you have enjoyed?
Where are you planning on travelling, and what are you planning on doing for the 4th of July this year?

LOL I've heard that one, and it's true. The one I know is impolite, I can't say it on here, maybe in PM.

All I can say, is I guess the Lord is pleased with me!!
I mean, first, I found the MC60 a few weeks ago. I was able to sell it for a good, but more than fair price(though I have not yet received the money).
THEN-- Yesterday- I find ANOTHER old, VERY rare amplifier. (in of ALL places, in college hill, NOT a "rich section", by ANY means!!)(but then again, neither is Clarksville, Ohio, where I got the Mac!!)This one is a Marantz model 2, and is MUCH rarer than the Mcintosh. In fact, it looks like it may be worth in excess of $2K!! (a few weeks ago, a pair of them sold for over $16k, to some overseas buyer, and NOW-- a pair of them is on Ebay, currently at nearly $6k!!
I have been doing a lot of witnessing. but then, I always do. But as of late, I have been standing up for conservative, Christian principles, attempting to educate fellow employees and employers, I guess. Personally, I do not feel like I have made much headway.
But, then again, maybe I am making a difference. And-- instead of piling onto Brenda, lately, upon hearing of her financial problems, I helped her out. Like I keep saying. you CANNOT outgive the Lord!!

Well, It was not a bad week this week.
The bosses wife was her usual, overly-nice self to me(I am NOT being sarcastic). He got a bit mean a couple of times, but she chided him about it I guess, and he mellowed out. The A/C has been replaced there, and it is nice and cool now. All in all-not a bad week there.
As for the other job-- the boss was pleased with me today-I got 3 projos done for him, including two "hot ones".
And of course the sale of the Mcintosh Tuesday night, and the Marantz find last night.
All in all-- a pretty good week!!
Speaking of memorable Independence days for me--I reckon the best one in recent memory would be 1994. That was the time I wen to on a nice, multi-hour boat ride, with Paul's friend. It was about the BEST 4th I have ever had!!
Although the night, after the fireworks, was NOT so fun-- as they all got high, and drunk and nasty, and I could NOT go home, I had ridden with Paul. I had to stay that night, and It made my head hurt(the pot smoke, I was in a room not too far from them, in a summer house they were using.)

I see Brian and the band play every year in my town at Christmas.
To: Maximus_Ridiculousness
Oh, if only you had been there. You get to go to Nascar, but no BSO for you!
