Good thing you've hidden Nana's meds. She may be forgetting that she already took something, that's why she is taking too many.
Penny fer yer thoughts...
Is it next Tuesday yet?
I have a lot of... really unimportant things to do. I would rather just sit and read a book but I have to get my nails done, polish my ring, find more tablecloths... do my laundry and pack my few belongings into a "honeymoon" set and a "to Iowa" set since I'm leaving the latter here until we swing back through next week.
Still seems vaguely unreal.
Been there. Done that. ;-)
Mawiage...
Oh yeah? Hmmm, that makes sense...
Where's a Very Impressive Clergyman when you need one?
EIGHT!!!
Good Lord have mercy!
I am thinking after the first one or two she might have forgotten she had taken one but by number 4 it was that purple elephant that was all like "hey, try one of these. they are great." and she as all "Don't mind if I do!" *pop*
I must have made this tea too strong. I can't think of any other reason I would be all jumpy and unable to concentrate.
No, Nana knows how many pills she takes. When she told me, I was thinking Tylenol 3 or something. I had no idea it was Vicodin.
Then add the shots on top of that. And the fact that by that evening she was taking Percocet.
I know that my problem is I'm doing chores, I hate scrubbing multiple bathrooms. No wonder I can't keep my mind on stuff.
Amazing. I took two pain pills once when my eye got hit with that handichopper plug (Remember that? When I was making fried chicken livers.)
It made me nearly comatose!
I can't remember if it was oxy or hydro codone, though...
I am pretty sure my good mood is because the test station is being nice to me today. That has to be it.
Well most people would react strongly to that much medicine. But Nana consumes more pills than food.
When we moved her here, the doctor cut her meds down to a third of what she had been taking.
Oh, good, I'm glad the test station is being nice. Very considerate of it.
