Okay, thanks Chromey. Believe me, I know how frustating that can be.
Hey Phil.
You like that message from the hubby?
I spent all evening hunting down letters in the street just to put my keyboard back together.
Okay, just kidding.
I am experiencing a major malfunction with my system and will need to do a complete install from scratch. Half the drivers running on the system are corrupted. Somehow I am able to get back on to the internet (not sure how I did it) but only for a second to try and download some drivers. Wish me lark!
Hopefully I'll be back online by tomorrow night. Ugh!
Over and out.
Hey Philly Willy.
You around?
I'm back up and running again. Lost some stuff but it should be ok.
THERE SHE IS!!!
Hola!
Still there?
Looks like a keyword troll got me.
What's a keyword troll?
Have a look at the thread keywords, right underneath the Dinklemeyer cartoon.
Whoa. Never noticed that before. When did that pop up? Can you tell who put it there?
I don't think so. Anyone can add keywords. You could, if you wanted to.
They've hit me before. Usually I add one keyword to my cartoon thread, which is "Freeptoons." One time, the thread keywords got peppered with "CANTDRAW," "UNFUNNY," "LEARNTODRAW," "WHATSTHEJOKE," and "YOUSTINK."
OMG! Really!! What a bunch of a$$es.
Off the subject...say, do you use iTunes with an iPod at all?
Where aaaaaaaaare you?
Okay, are you still there?
No, I still haven't figured out what an iPod is yet.
Silly.
Just sent you PM.
Be back in a little while...
Why do you ask?
There...we'll have a discussion topic when you get back.
What, about iPod?
Yes, about those things...whatever they are.
Is that like a record player?
Yup.
It's really just a teeny tiny hard drive. Has it's own operating system and everything. Think of it as an external hard drive you can plug into your puter. You know how you can play mp3s on your computer, right? Same thing, only, you detach this unit and take it with you. It has a headphone jack and a battery in there so you can walk around with it or play it in your car stereo. (Geez, I sound like a commercial!)
