I Just Saw the Coolest Thing (But Loose Lips Sink Ships)
My own eyes | 6/21/2006 | By Laz

Posted on 06/21/2006 11:02:00 AM PDT by Lazamataz

I just saw what (I believe to be) is the coolest thing I have ever seen.

But because we are at War, I won't compromise our security by sharing it -- TODAY.

Watch this space tomorrow and I will share with you all what I saw.

It was too cool by half.

In true typical FReeper fashion, I'll go take a shower now. And when I return, Laz will share what he saw.

Cool a copy AF1. Too bad it's not a B-2 or some other mil flyer, but still pretty cool.

Ease up, junior sportsfans! I was nut-busting ya! Have a forking coke & a smile.

Have a nice day, don't kick the dog when you get home! Oh yeah, pick up some flowers on your way home, it's your wife & her husbands anniversary.

BTW, did you hear that Cindy Sheehan's going on a hunger strike? Should be fun.

Well, I don't care about a security breach!

I, too, saw Elvis today at the Dairy Queen! :)

1999 - 2006. Hmm. Isn't that 7 years? Why, yes, it is! I am far too sensitive to criticism, I guess.

Yep, you ARE correct, 7 years, only off 1 full month. I did survey work, and saw 1.00 foot errors all the time, i understand.

Most people chuckle and don't have a hissy fit, though. I have made some seriously serious goofs here, and laughed my arse off at my self. Oh well, it's only an online persona, you won't lose your bid for POTUS because you gaffed a date calculation.

You're one of those that looks up in the sky, and points at nothing, trying to get others to look and point, too, so you can slink away laughing. Aren't you? Admit it! :-)

When my brother, sister and I were kids, we used to walk through several blocks of our subdivision together to the 7-11.

Whenever there were people in their yards, my brother would open their mailbox (out by the sidewalk) and burst out into hysterical laughter. Then he'd call my sister and me over and point into the mailbox and we'd double over laughing.

It never failed. We'd amble up the street, still giggling and then turn around and watch as the owners of the house crept over to inspect their (empty and benign) mailbox.

Aw, hell; I figured this was as good a thread as any to post that little reminiscence.

I saw what looked like Air Force One. It was a civvy jet (VERY rare to touch down at Dobbins), it had the blue-white markings, but was missing the Presidential markings. It was, however, escorted by a pair of combat-ready aircraft (one to each side, and one chase).

I work in a building with a view of an airport, and occasionally, we see some of the non-AFO staff jets making practice touch-and-go's. However, on rare occasions, extremely well-groomed and buff-looking 'window washers' will be perched around our building...and it seems to coincide with actual landings. Hmmm.

Of course he gets all the girls...
Why,
I think right now he has 3 living with him,
and one that visits pretty regularly...

And then there's me :)
