sounds like you have a virus. I would do a scan and a system restore.

Microsoft Natural Keyboard?
You may need to re-boot; and go and download Inteli-type software. The native drivers in WinXP sometimes get messed up running Microsoft keyboards (which makes absolutely ZERO sense, but it happened to me).
Just pop over to your keyboard's support site, and download and install your latest Keyboard driver and software suite.

Reboot!!!!! If that doesn't fix it do some virus scanning, and scan for spyware. A big hammer certainly wouldn't hurt either if it keeps up.

Gee that looks just like what happens when I dump coffee in my laptop keyboard.
Hate it when that happens. Usually sets me SOL for at least 24 hrs.
Wife makes me carry out garbage and other awful stuff when she figures she's got me off the 'puter.

"if a reboot doesn't fix it, try a repair reinstall of the OS" I was thinking System Restore if he was unaware of the issues with it and left it running. If that fixes it, then turn it off lol.
