And now for tonight’s Dinklemeyer:
This begins a new story: “Freddy gets detention.” Here we see the bully deciding to steal Freddy’s book and run to hide it.
Since starting to draw the Dinklemeyers, my drawing had improved greatly, so with this story I was able to put in a more lush and vivid background. It made the overall look a lot fuller and more pleasing to the eye.
Sadly, this story is based on something that happened to me, and it was almost exactly like this…down to the nearest detail.
Still here? I'm about to run upstairs and grab something in the fridge. Don't know what it is but it looks good.
Looks like Mom and Dad ate out without me tonight again. *Sigh*

They go out to eat without me while I'm at work all the time. They have for years.
Mom and I eat out without Dad a lot, too.
But Mom is the center of the universe of eating out. It can't be done without her.
Well, if you're at work, then that's different I guess cause you're not there at dinner time...right? Did they leave without you tonight and not realize that you were still home?
No, I was at work when they left and they were back when I got home.
But I'm still jealous. They were eating at a restaurant while I was chewing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the break room.
Did they bring back anything for you?
Yeah, that's how found out: saw it in the fridge.

I don't know what it is. It looks like a sort of gyro wrap.

While you munch, I need to go empty and load the dishwasher.

The cat went out, too. Phew...good thing. I wouldn't get a moment's peace trying to eat with HIM around.

I made myself popcorn too. I just realized I had no dinner tonight. (I wolfed the ice cream down.)
So now I'm eating popcorn.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
If I suddenly stop responding...assume it's cardiac arrest and call 911. :P
Oh, I forgot to mention...I watched Chicken Little today. Never seen it before. Cute movie.
Ah...you should sprinkle the popcorn on the ice cream next time. What a treat.
