David Hasselhoff is leading an assault on the British and American pop charts, and is determined his next single will reach number one in both territories.
The former Baywatch star has an internet campaign behind him, inspired by Gnarls Barkley's download success with single Crazy.
Fans are encouraged to register with their email address and the anonymous site founders claim 2,000 a day are signing up.
Hasselhoff has enjoyed a successful pop career in parts of Europe but has yet to conquer Britain and America.

Yup. I tend to feel stupider after being exposed to Hasselhoff content.
Is it any wonder that he's wildly popular in the countries that supported Saddam Hussein?

Americans have been over saturated with the guy on TV. Plus, music starts tend to break into the market young, not when they are in their 50s.
He won't have the market to do what he wants to do, but I have heard him sing and I would give him a strong 7 for talent on a scale of 1-10.
