Homeland security officials said the grants were a result of a more sophisticated evaluation process

"I believe you've already met Grayson Nash." Why am I drawing a blank in regard to this?

    I'm "tuliptree76," but I don't think I'll put that on my dissertation...

Now I'm remembering the scene in "History of the World, Part One" in which the two penniless Parisians turn to each other pleading for help.

If everyone on Free Republic bought my book, I'd be rich.

But if I bought every book from every writer on Free Republic, I'd be broke again!

Yeah, but that's a dissertation. You can use any name for a book--just ask "Anonymous."

65 would be the colder days.

On average a comfortable 70 in the winter and 86 in the summer as an overall average.

Dropping below 65 and going over 92 is real rare, A few days a year.

I have a novel and a screenplay (based upon the novel) in the works right now. I expect to eat the costs on both, though I know that the latter will sell, though you may not see it on the Top Ten box office list as it presents a very non-Hollywood story.

    Tulip is going to write
the blockbuster novel of the century one day. She already knows what she's going to call it.

It dropped down to 55 once in the desert and people had to turn the heat on for once. What's this 'H' knob for, they asked.

Originally, I did have a colon in my dissertation title, but my committee chair told me to remove it. LOL!

To: tuliptree76
Better than a title in the colon I say.
