Work's been OK. Not too busy at all -- but I've had some work at odd hours on a new project I'm managing. I'm looking forward to a great summer!

I'm swell. I've been working a lot. Other than that I'm making sure Hubby (Pat) doesn't get too wild with his bandages still on. He's been home since Wednesday and he's been hobbling all over the house when he really shouldn't be. The doctor has already warned him not to push it. My job is to nag the hell out of him every time he tries to get up for something.
What about you? What's the latest on everything?

Sounds like fun. Some of my neighbors went for beers after the Oiler's game last night, but I had to get up early today. I figured that a hangover wouldn't be the best way to spend the day. I think I need to start stocking the office fridge again, a beer sounds good now.
Can't believe you're swimming already. Wow. The weather has been quite nice here, but not that warm. I just got back from my lab and its still bright outside. I love this time of year!

I think it surprises quite a lot of Americans that our cabinet ministers are also MPs including the Prime Minister.
Very often after they are no longer in the cabinet or PM/party leader they stay as MPs for many years.

Lol that sounds like a fun job.
The latest? Um...I leave for camp on Thursday. I went shopping today to get some boring stuff: a fan, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Oh, did you know I'm probably gonna be interning at the Defense Department this fall? I've been e-mailing this girl who interned last fall and then got hired and I talked to her on the phone a couple days ago. She's pretty sure her boss is gonna let me intern with them in the fall. So I'm very excited about that.

I overheard something about that. I figure, let them. Its disgusting, but in the end it will result in lost business for them. Look at the 'dinosaur media'!
The press has yet to ever run a good picture of anyone in the Bush Administration, besides Cheney's NRA shot. Condi always looks snotty & disgusted, Rumsfeld always looks like he's plotting to blow up an orphanage, President Bush always looks like he is confused, and Cheney always looks pissed off about something.
Its disgusting, and disrespectful. But I almost wonder if Bush allows Helen Thomas & co. to cover him on purpose, because they're just so outrageous.
