A man who authorities said may have been an off-duty California Highway Patrol officer and a second man who has not been identified were killed Tuesday in a rollover accident involving a Ferrari, the second high-profile Ferrari crash this year in Los Angeles County.

A "security hold."? Now that sounds intresting. You had a crash, seems to me once the members of the family of the deceased are notified we should have the names of those involved even though there may be an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash?

Authorities are trying to determine why a 1993 Ferrari Testarossa crashed and overturned...

Okay, that was strange. Let's try it again.
Authorities are trying to determine why a 1993 Ferrari Testarossa crashed and overturned Shot in the dark. Driving too fast?
To: BurbankKarl
Something tells me he was going a significant multiple of the posted speed limit. You can see the shattered phone/power pole in the foreground of the first picture--and it still carried enough momentum to fly up into the fencing. That car had to be really flying.

Actress Morgan Brittany of "Dallas" heard the crash. Cool.

"Authorities are trying to determine why a 1993 Ferrari Testarossa crashed and overturned this afternoon near Agoura Hills, killing two people..."Going too fast?
We saw a Ferarri on the way home from Anchorage a couple of weeks ago. He was doing the speed limit, and all the traffic around him slowed down to get a better look. One word: GORGEOUS!!!

In the top picture to the left of the girl on the phone is a bush. It was its fault.

Sheesh, I was lucky enough to be driving an F430 last Sunday - not my car - at a respectable pace, on similar roads. The Enzo incident earlier this year crossed my mind, briefly, in between 480hp rev matched, SMG upshifts.
Spooky.

Bet they are going to spend a fortune doing an accident reconstruction analysis only to determine the driver was going too fast.
