That's very odd. The Republican party is the stronger party, but the dems' prospects are "brighter." Maybe because the dems haven't done anything for so long, that even the tiniest improvement will make their prospects "brighter."

Not that strange. Currently Republicans are in control of both houses and the Presidency, therefore they are more powerful, at least in principle. However, their continued control is now seriously in doubt, therefore, prospects would seem brighter for the Democrats, at present.

The Republican party is more powerful due to them being in charge of all facets of the Federal government.
Most folks on this poll believe that will change this year, giving you the second result.

"due to them being in charge "

Looks to me like Kennedy/Schumer, etc. are in charge of the Senate.

No. It's because ALL Internet polls are completely and totally worthless. Why waste the bandwidth?

Seems logical to me. They think the GOP ios in charge now, and that the Dems will be in charge next year.

 That's true.

Except when the polls reflect my thinking and opinion. Then they're 100% true and indisputable.

I agree with both, because the Pubs control the federal gov't now, but they are bending over backward to act like Dems (not a winning strategy), and this country is steadily marching toward socialism. The Dems win in the end.
