I've found it to be pretty good goods. I guess it's just personal tastes.
Here in Tucson, AZ that's how it is. Crowded, messy, I'd never go there. But in rural Tennessee where I recently lived it was really nice, clean, you saw everyone you knew but it wasn't crowded, etc. I guess which area you're in really matters a lot.
I don't dislike Wal-Mart and spend money their. But I also spend my money at other retailers too. If Wal-Mart freezes them out then the little yellow happy face that goes around slashing prices will turn into a boot kicking us in the *$$
Besides, I work for a Wal-Mart competitor so I know this one is my enemy.

Unless you end up with little **** having a bad day and deciding to take it out on the customer. My receipt had gotten smudged when returned some items when I found out they were sized wrong. The customer service lady gave me a bad time about the receipt being smudged (even though the total or type of transaction wasn't, just the price on two items). She asked for my i.d. I didn't have it with me, so told her I would get my husband (since he obviously had his i.d. on him). She then gave him a really hard time and acted like she was doing him a favor by giving him store credit (which is all we wanted in the first place). If we had to go back home to get my i.d. there would have been some words with this girl's manager.

Unless you're buying your food at a Wild Oats, Sprouts, or Sunflower type of place, there is no real difference between the food at Wal-Mart and that at Kroger's.

I am totally anti union - but in walmarts case - it breaks my heart to see mom and pop inner city busting thier humps for lousy wages and meager check.....the worker would be better off for it.
