Strange story... dog attack but no bite wounds - it does sound like a heart attack or something else. I do note some uncertainty in the article about the dog, but a picture of a dog with the article. Is this the dog? or a stock photo? weird.

Could being on blood thinners make you bleed internally to the point of death? I agree, it seems unlikely to be a pit if there were not external bite wounds. Maybe a heart attack. Strange little story, altho telling that they said it "might be a pit bull". Seems like they would wait on that info until they knew a little more. Might have been a lab or a cocker spaniel or a really mean toy poodle....

"Strange story... dog attack but no bite wounds"I was thinking the same thing, died of an attack but no bite wounds?
What kind of attack was it, a lap attack?

Pit bulls are like Cheney. They can kill just by looking at you. I've heard factual accounts directly from pit bull opponents, about people losing arms and legs from being in the same county as a pit bull.
Pit bulls are in fact, telekenetic remote chewers and can eat a person's internal organs from within just by thinking about it and should therefore be banned < /sarcasm>

Strange is right. Maybe it was just, coincidentally, his time

It's just a stock photo. It says "pit bull" and the story indicates they have no idea who "attacked". Remember, they're SURMISING it "may" have been a pit bull!
