DURHAM -- Tissue found under the fingernail of an exotic dancer who claimed she was raped at a Duke University lacrosse party may match a player who was there, several well-placed sources said Wednesday.
Analyzing the tissue, scientists concluded it came from the same genetic pool and was "consistent" with the bodily makeup of one of 46 lacrosse players who gave DNA samples for testing, the sources said.
At the same time, scientists ruled out a possible match with any of the other 45 students, according to the sources.
If accurate, the fingernail tissue match would offer the first DNA evidence potentially linking the dancer and an alleged attacker.
But because a complete DNA pattern was not obtained from the tissue, it was not possible to match it with the nearly 100 percent certainty that DNA results usually offer, the sources added.
The dancer told police she clawed at three attackers as they raped and sodomized her for 30 minutes during the March 13-14 lacrosse house party at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd.

Outer Banks (Nags Head, Cape Hatteras) if you like the beach
Grandfather Mountain if you like the mountains
Pinehurst if you are a golfer.
Kevin Miller "sells" his interviews, too.
And from what I read on here yesterday, he changes his story from show to show.
Don't give the DA any ideas! ;)
At least rescinding David Evans' previous diversion deal was within the discretion of the DA. What I hope someone in the media pursues is whether arresting Elmostafa was actually illegal because the statute of limitations had run out on any criminal misdemeanor involving $250.
OMG--don't forget Charlotte Motor Speedway!
You should really put a "Spoiler Alert" if you're going to give away the whole plot like that.
What are the odds, huh?
The only good thing to come out of this is the vision of Easley squirming every time the phrase "Nifong, appointed DA by Gov. Easley ..." is mentioned. As Nifong's reputation sinks nationally, I hope Easley's responsibility for enabling him to do so much damage to so many is remembered.

Thanks. I need to throw around the name of some place I will NEVER be visiting ever again *wink wink*.
Okay..time to call the Govna's office.
Mustache Perp was #5, Seligmann was #7, and Finnerty was #40.
And I'll let them know I'll never visit the Biltmore again! Next time I have an urge to visit some rich, dead dude's house, I'll head west to Graceland!
Nobody says the stereotype is accurate. There's no question, the Yankees were probably speeding down I-95, weaving in and out like they were on the Long Island Expressway or the Jersey Turnpike.
The fact remains, North Carolina spends millions of dollars to paint a nice picture of the state as a tourist destination and a great place for business to move. Similarly Duke spends millions on its recruiting.
What the DA is doing is undercutting those efforts.
It may not be fair but it's happening.

CAll them!
Well I'll certainly agree with that.

Gosh, I'd love to see him, but I'd have to drive through NC on my way south, and that's out of the question.
Yes!
