Just when I think Nifong can go no farther, he does it again. How in the world could the cab driver be responsible for what his fares did inside the mall? Is the DA trying to show he really is balanced after all because he had a black man arrested and held in jail for 5 hours?

The jerk who thinks it funny that this same black man must earn a living driving a cab instead of spending time w/HIM should be laughed out of his own occupation?

'Think it would do any good to call the DA's office as well as the governor's?

I would also like to see the News&Observer highlight this intimidation of a witness AND quote the law which has apparently been ignored.

In the interest of the almighty diversity, what about a feature story on the cab driver and the ramifications of Nifong's action on his life? Would the Durham blacks go to bat for their black brother and show their displeasure to the DA?
