He's in two of my most favourite movies. Bueller and "Election" - if you've never seen this with Reese Witherspoon it is dark and hilarious.

My GF at the time was WAY into this movie! Thank God i had to serve duty every other weekend so I was spared seeing it half the time.
She liked Dirty Dancing more, though, and it was harder to get out of that because I went to 1 in 4 duty. YUCK!

Good grief am I really this old. Seems like just yesterday I saw "FBDO" for the first time. Yikes!
I love that movie. It's a classic of the 80's.

Holy Crap!
For reasons I don't really understand, I love this movie.
My wife on the otherhand hates it in spades and complains when I watch it.
Then there is Ben Stein..... Bueler, Bueler, Bueler.
I didn't think much of him for this part and Ben Stein's Money but have seen him a lot on Saturday Fox financial program. He is wise and dispenses his wisdom often in conflict with his liberal collegues on the show.
It's deja vu all over again!
Awesome soundtrack too.
I did love Ben Stein in that movie. I *am* getting sick and tired of the 80s being referred to as the age of greed...when we all know who the greedy ones were: the Democrats who didnt want their pet project budgets cut so more money could be spent protecting this country and calling Gorbachev's bluff on nuclear weapons.
Quintessential 80s movies:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Sixteen Candles
Breakfast Club
St. Elmo's Fire
Pretty in Pink
Back to the Future - "you made a time machine...out of a DeLorean?!"
80s forever!!
I suspect there were consequences for Cameron however.
I'd like you to know that I have called the police, I have my fathers gun and a scorching case of herpes!
This movie is my husbands favorite!
Matthew Broderick is also good in "Ladyhawk".
We watched it with our 12 year old just this last weekend.
She loved it! I'm not sure that I want her to see FBDO yet.
What a funny movie! I remember reading somewhere, years ago, that a sequel had been considered with Ferris working in a corporation.
This was a fun film. Ferris's house (the one used in the movie) is right around the corner from me. I see it every day. Matthew Broderick was just darling in this.
Back when I had hair people used to stop me on the street and ask if I was Matthew Broderick (actually they usually asked if I was Ferris Bueller).
One of the best movies ever!
btw, my daughter is pulling "Ferris" today.......claiming stomach ache.
