I received an email from a friend regarding the Trade Towers collapse. I haven't watched the entire video in the attachment as it is over an hour and I have other things for my Saturday planned. However, before I watch it, for those who have seen such 'evidence' that the towers collapsed due to controlled implosion or something like that, what is your view of the conspiracy theory. I've never seen Michael Moore's stuff (don't plan on seeing it either). I haven't delved too deeply into any of the conspiracys other than to know they exist. Am interested in hearing the Freepers take on things though.
Please don't reply unless you have studied the evidence from both sides.
I'm not "selling" anything. I asked a question. If you will read my posts, you will see I've been a Freeper in good standing for quite some time. And, my friend is a real person who really emailed this to me in my email box today (along with another video on the same subject). I have other things I am preparing for (such as teaching a Sunday School class tomorrow AM) so I didn't have time to devote to an hour and a half worth of movie and wanted a snapshot of what Freepers believed. Your commentary as a civil engineer is invaluable. Your comments questioning my integrity are not.
Your first paragraph has my logic in it. Why would this specific event be needed either LIHOP or MIHOP? History will crucify the person(s) that did either with foreknowledge to stop it.
I think you're at the same place a lot of people are. Gather data, sort it, draw a conclusion and repeat the process. It's when you get a photo with a weird shadow on the bottom of an airliner and start yelling it's a missile and it's all Bush's Fault that someone needs to 8itch-$lap you and take away your internet connection for a while.
Just my humble rantings.

Your comments accusing me of "not seeing what (I) don't want to see" are quite the attck on MY integrity. If your so-called friend wants you to doubt what you likely saw happen with your own eyes, then I fear for your Christian faith when you have contact with them...if they can make you doubt what you saw, it shouldn't be too long before you start doubting your faith in Christ, someone who you haven't seen in person.

That you saw that as bickering says much about you. You just can't stand the fact that I called you on your lack of research skills.
For someone who claims to be "so busy" you certainly spend a lot of time attacking me.
Why in the time you have spent in a huff you could have actually done a search and pulled up no less then sixteen threads that have covered the same issue already.
