I think BSM turned out to be a red herring. Someone linked to a sight that included the names of CM's immediate family and no brother was listed.
Here's what I hear on the Durham police radio transmission tape.
It seems to be from only one of the officers' radios, so to have the complete conversation we would need to have the transmissions from the other officers
Anymore information on the BSM that was incarcerated 4/16?

Listen to this again. It sounds to me like the cop is asking if the girl he talked to at Kroger (Kim) knew her (CM). I didn't hear the "you"...but I could be wrong.
Also, is the judge on the case a decent judge, hopefully in the mold of Sanders Sauls?
If (or should I say "when"?) Nifong loses on Tuesday, when does the winner take office?

Actually now I think it says "...up to the home [something spliced out] street to rap out there and"
So I think they deleted the AV's street address before publicly releasing this tape
He may be swallowing the word "you" but I still think from his tone he's addressing the other cop, and asking the other cop if he knew her (meaning Kim, probably) and the other cop is saying "quite possibly"

Although as a temporary appointee, Nifong could resign and let the governor appoint the winner to fill out the term. Does he sound like that kind of a guy to you?

Yes, listening to it now I think they spliced out words here - immediately after Duke, which is why it sounds weird.
Perhaps he said Duke Hospital or Duke Emergency Room or something like that.
The splicing might be out of concerns under HIPAA -- they may be concerned not to publicy release the fact that an individual has been admitted to a hospital, as possibly running afoul of HIPAA
Does it sound like he is saying "Send two OTHER units out..."
this is fun.... 20 people listening to the same recordings and hearing 20 different things...
