My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hi, tweet!
I construct the pics. The dragonflies are jewelry and the backgrounds are scavanged and edited. To varying degrees, I edit 99% of what I post.
Got a clean bill of health on the eyes and a new pair of contacts to be rechecked in two weeks. They're bifocal lenses. Even though I think they're a little off (distance) I already like them much better than my old ones as well as my old glasses. All in all, it's been a good day and I'm only a little tired.
We have that humid, spongy effect here, too. I don't recall it being so humid in the house with two of the 3 a/cs running.

So glad the specks are so comfy, yay!
I had some errand running to do also. I don't have to go far so it was easy going.
I have my a/c on, but not cause it's hot, just cause it will take some of the water out of the air.

Oh, Wow! This is one of my favorite songs - not sure why; guess it's just kinda happy and upbeat (or I have strange tastes; after all I was raised on Beethoven, Bach and Spike Jones!) Normal? Not me!!!

Oh boy, is our weather lousy this week, lots of rain which is good, but no sun for most of the week. Started off hotter than heck with a lot of humidity.
