"I would think that the star gazing from there would be spectacular." Star-gazing from anywhere on Mars' surface is remarkable, with only the occasional high cloud or dust storm to interfere.
The constellations are the same, but with less than one percent of the atmosphere there is much less turbulence or "twinkling" to interfere.
Of course, these same constellations are also visible from the grassy meadows surrounding the Castle, or even deck chairs up on the roof, with some slight loss of image quality due to our thick glazing.
