Stewie: How you uh, how you comin' on that novel you're working on? Huh? Gotta a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Gotta, gotta nice litte story you're working on there? Your big novel you've been working on for 3 years? Huh? Gotta, gotta compelling protaganist? Yeah? Gotta obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Gotta story brewing there? Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? (voice getting higher pitched) Yea, talking about that 3 years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? Beginning, middle, and end? Some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends? At the end your main character is richer from the experience? Yeah? Yeah? (voice returns to normal) No, no, you deserve some time off.

nine months to create

I read that too. That can't be right. Must be a typo.

No, I think that's right. If I'm not mistaken, South Park is the only cartoon that can get an episode out in a few days as opposed to several months because they're the only ones that do their animation in house. Plus Matt and Trey use some pretty powerful computer software to do it.

I know that I've heard that it takes about nine months to do an episode of The Simpsons.

Macfarlane looks like Jackie Gleason's forgotten son.

Yep, just like the time I was playing darts with Muhammand, prophet of the Muslim faith (start flashback).

I don't think it's an FCC persecution complex, most of the time I've heard Seth complain about being censored it's the Fox censors. And South Park is on cable, still immune from the FCC for now.

The ASSU Speakers Bureau continues its series next Monday with Palestinian democratic activist Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, and Wednesday with former U.S. Senator and vice presidential candidate John Edwards. Both events will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium on their respective dates.

I would say that Stewie is much closer to the 'Brain'.

Pinky and the Brain

Stewie and the Brian

I think what you quoted is easily the funniest moment in Family Guy history, especially when taken in whole with the callback to it several episodes later.

“They sh*t on everybody like we do,” he said, adding that to cry foul would be “hypocritical.”

That is a good man who knows how to take a joke. You Family Guy hating kool-aid drinkers can shove it.
