Fake fingernails and clothing are the focus of new leads in the Duke University lacrosse rape case as investigators try to pin down whether any members of the team raped or assaulted a stripper at a party last month.
Police had found four fake women's fingernails inside the bathroom where the accuser says the attack took place. The fingernails initially were thought to be a sign that a struggle did occur in that room.
But FOX New confirmed that the defense has photos from 12:04 a.m. March 14, showing the dancer already missing several of her fingernails, suggesting that her fingernails were missing before the time of the alleged attack.

This thing gets more twisted every day. If these guys did in fact do this, they deserve to get burned. But there are still a lot of rather loose ends surrounding this case it seems.

I heard his interview. He did not say that and in fact, he said that he had been misquoted.
Three guys and two dames in a bathroom?? Just how big is this bathroom??

Almostafa said he was misquoted in news reports earlier Thursday, which reported him as saying it looked like someone had gotten hurt.
Thanks for clearing that up. I wondered why I hadn't heard it before since I have been following the case pretty closely.
Lets add to the fact the man's first language is not English and when Rita was questioning him he could have been trying to say one thing and it came out wrong.
As long as he has those call logs, and Reade's cell phone trace matches, all is good.

She fingered the wrong suspects and that's another nail in the coffin.This should just about polish off the D.A.'s case.

I agree....I hope they sue the DA; the College for not sticking up for the boys and I don't know yet how I feel about the accuser....she is single, trying to raise 2 kids, working and going to school....I could go either way on it, just don't know yet....
not only that, but no one is mentioning her profession... she's a stripper. She takes off her clothes at other people's houses for money. Is there a chance she is also a prostitute? Her and the other stripper seem to be angry, moneyhungry and willing to play the race card...
