I've been out running around. Too late in the day to find the impatiens I wanted. Finally found 'em at HomeDepot.
But in, what can be nothing other than God's timing, I got home in time to stop Nana from burning the house down. I am not making this up.
She was reheating her sandwich from Arby's last night. Paper bag, aluminum foil and all. Jr. saw the flames in the microwave. I managed to pull the bag out while it was still on fire and put it in the pot Jr. got for me.
While I have a full afternoon of work still ahead, I am currently immobilized by the thought of "what if Nana and Luke had been here alone?"
Honestly folks, I've been struggling with this whole arrangement for months. God forgive me, but I don't know how much more I can take.
So, there's that.
BWAHAHAHA!
If they were there alone it wouldn't have happened... stuff like that only happens to ~Corin~.

Seriously, though, I'm glad no one got hurt.
That's... just awful. I'm glad you got home in time.
The brothers have been planting the garden all day today. They grew tomato plants, peppers, marigolds, who knows what else under lights indoors and they're transferring them to the patch today. I went to the grocery store with Dad and we stocked up on supplies for tonight's taco dinner... amazing how much boys eat.
YIKES! Glad you got to it in time!
Empress did that ones with a rotisary chicken in a bag like that. Killed a perfectly good microwave.
Corin, was that your cousin on the CBS Morning News article about artificial limbs? He has a large sun tattoo on his shoulder, right?
West Coasters, can one of y'all record this morning's CBS Morning News?
