New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

...just when I'd got my bits of things out of the barrow...
Eww, you can have him. Although he was the best thing in that movie.
Well...granted, I'm a bit twisted by having read Maria's own books.
Not that either of 'em looked ANYTHING like they did in the movie.
I sure hope so, because here's how the two trigger packs look side by side:
And here's how my AUG with its 16-inch barrel compares to the PS90, also with a 16-inch barrel.
Since a cold war has broken out between Steyr and the US State Department, Steyr has labelled every pin and spring in their product line a "military munition". That means no sales to American civilians, and police and military have to get State Department approval for each item.
So I snapped up a little-known accessory for the AUG: a new stock that is designed to take the (relatively) cheap-and-available M16 magazine, rather than the elegant-but-expensive AUG magazine, of which we will see no more.
And if I could have gotten that $5 tax stamp, I could have had one of these in semi-auto. Full auto is lots of fun, but overrated. At least the way I shoot full auto weapons.
Yeah, things weren't exactly like they were in the movie, were they?
Not at all! They really changed the timeline...and changed people's characters and made it look like she was the one who got them into music and...well, a lot.
Morning all. It's Monday again, oh huzzah.
Woo Hoo! I've got the instrument all day and tonight!
/mad scientist cackle
Morning everyone!
So begins the first day of the last week in this cubicle.
Ramius will be here in a week and a day! Yippee!
Woo-hoo!
Good morning!

Thanks!
Good morning. ~yawn~
Got to sleep in this morning - using up my last couple days of sick time today and tomorrow. We're planning to go for a ride and then out to a nice decadent dinner.
Good morning, and thank you :~D
Enjoy your day, you two.
In some ways it seems like just yesterday that you guys got married....
But in other ways it seems that you've been together forever. :-)
Not exactly Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews, huh? Their story WAS very interesting, though, and the family was successful in the US, eventually.
You know, it's kinda sad, but I've been to Stowe quite a few times and never saw their place there.
My good wishes for your 2nd Anniversary, and prayers for MANY more years together!!
I'd like to reread that book again! It's been awhile.
