I planted some....I hope the bunnies don't find 'em.
My neighbor across the street that I really like gave me a bunch of groceries...cleaned out her freezer. Some of the meat she gave me was stuff like sirloin steak! And a t-bone even! We literally never get that kind of meat! We either eat chicken, pork chops (not the fancy kind) or ground beef (90% lean if we get a really good buy.) She gave me the disclaimer that she didn't know if they'd be any good anymore.
I took it out to defrost so we could grill it tonight. It's all defrosted, still in the package. It's grey. Dark grey. I'll eat just about anything, but I don't think this is edible.
~sob~
Enjoyed your garden pictures... I just got back over from Rosie's... Cisco had a case of the 'poor mes' today, so I took the dogs over and let them play awhile.
So I took the liberty of taking a couple pictures of her garden so she can keep track :~D
She's got corn coming up in the middle, some 'maters, flowers, and I'm not sure what else...
I was gonna say, Rosie, since I think you had corn seed left over, that you ought to plant another row right in-between these, and then maybe another row next week. It's OK to cram them in there I think, and there's a benefit in staggering the planting so they're not all ready at the same time.
Oh - but the important reason for my being there was the dog-play :~D
This picture is a little disorienting. Takes a minute to figure out what's going on in it :~D
I let them play till they were tired, now Cisco's content and tired over there.
It's turning yellow, I think because it's rained so much this week.
What model of camera is that? It sure takes some sweet action shots.
It's a Cannon Powershot - a mid-range camera.
It's good and it's not good. I've learned with digitals and action to just take a lot of pictures and toss most of them. There is a delay, so you can't always time them the way you want.
Cute doggie pics! Looks like they're having fun.
Another nice long day at work. Friday tomorrow! Whew.
This has been the longest day ever!
I love your runaway radish. I saw it at work. And I kid you not I was listening to (the band called) Live's song "Runaway". I got a good laugh out of that.
Beautiful garden! Happy dogs! Wonderful! Wonderful!
~sneakin'~
It will be a great adventure!
Those painted tires sure came in handy! ;o)
Well, the price was right on them for this year anyway :~D
Love that last picture of my boy! He'sagooddog...sorta.
Thanks for the pictures, and for checking in on him!
He's a lovable little moron eh? :~D
*sigh*
Another evening where it's really too damp to mow without making a horrible mess. I really need to get the other side of the backyard at some point...it's so long! Total jungle...I think I heard a macaw back there the other day...
Very... ;-)
Like I said, half the time when I'm sitting at the computer typing, he's next to me with his head in my lap, wiggling frantically...just happy with the world. ;-)
Hard to get mad at him for long when he's just so *goofy*.
You're not gonna be able to mow till ~maybe~ the weekend. We're in the same boat here - oh - boat... maybe we should build a boat.
Heh...
Mostly it means I don't know what to do with my evenings. I mean...I could clean...but where's the fun in that?
Time to find a library and read books!
Or watch Lost... didja get that?
