Evening OT - quite a traveling day, glad you made it there even if it was sans suitcase.

RE: deers in the backyard : align sights, squeeze the trigger, reload, repeat as necessary.

We got a notice hand delivered yesterday that there would be an inordinate amount of traffic around the old homestead this week. Seems our neighborhood has the right feel for a new movie. (I wonder if setting on the front porch swing, wearing my cut off bib overhalls is what did it).

Anyway, it's supposed to be a G-rated movie, (guess that's why I wasn't asked to be an extra). It's set up mostly at the vet's office down the street.

The movie's name is "More Than Puppy Love 2", a sequel to "More Than Puppy Love" which came out in 2000. Kinda of exciting, they'll be working 5 pm to 5 am for 3 nights.

Aw, man. I don't know what to say...I knew it could come to this, but...she seemed so happy and comfortable besides being so thin.

I imagine that wouldn't have continued long, and it's a blessed thing that she was able to go quietly before she was in a lot of pain. I can't imagine her doing well over any kind of long convalescence.

But...it just burns me up that someone would do such a thing to such a gentle little girl...she was so trusting and friendly. Why why why? It's not fair.

You were a good friend to her...the best you could be. She was fortunate to have made it to you.

Halvah is afraid of the flash...if she sees a camera, she shuts her eyes tight and usually scrunches down, too.

Sad...'cause she really is a pretty girl. Prettier 'n Tam...but don't tell him I said so.
