One of the two Duke University lacrosse players arrested on charges of raping and kidnapping a 27-year-old woman at an off-campus party had been arrested in the fall for assaulting a man in Washington, D.C., and the other was not present when the alleged crime occurred, sources told ABC News.
Multiple sources told ABC News that Reade Seligmann, 20, was not present in the house at the time the alleged victim says the crime occurred. Sources say this is established through different witness accounts, as well as cell phone and credit-card records.

It doesn't matter. What matters is that he COULD HAVE raped her.

That's what the DA gets for not questioning all of the suspects. Which he obviously didn't do.
That was a pretty small house to contain all 37 or so suspects at one time.

Well darn, now she'll have to pick another. No kidding.

This DA is appently the tar Heel state's Ronnie Earle. Trump up the charges to win an election, then deal with "justice" later.
If justice was served he'd be horsewhipped in a public square.

It doesn't matter. What matters is that he COULD HAVE raped her. Yup. Liberal Law Rule #37: It's the seriousness of the allegation that matters, not whether there's any evidence to support it.
Just ask Tom DeLay.

Figures, that Duke redneck DA would pick on two Yankees. It had to be them that what those Yankees do.

What matters is the seriousness of the charge.

Hey now! Let's not jump to conclusions so readily. The accused probably has a twin brother. Yea, that's it...

Dancer admits to lying to 911, regardless her reasoning. Lawyer for one of the accused says he has physical proof (I'm guessing the cell phone and credit card records) that his client was not present at the party. And there are still people on this forum, all over the media who use the baloney of the seriousness of the charge is more important than the nature of the evidence line.
Someone tell me when I left America?
To: Always Right
I believe it was earlier stated that the identity of a third suspect is being sought. He might have released this info just in case.
