Ever since the last Automatic Update from MS, the FR pager has stopped working right. When it tries to work I get the popup below.
My husband has played around with the settings in IE at Tools-Internet Options-Security, but enabling Activex Controls there is not fixing it.
Running XP Home SP 2 - all up to date...
IE 6.0
MS Antispyware
PC-Cillan
Not sure which of these is stopping me up or where to look.
FR Computer help needed...
Use Firefox. At least until IE7 is released. (ducking and running)
Thanks ES - Now maybe someone helpful will answer :~D
Heh.... You think I keep a messy house? ;~D
I know where everything is on my desktop just the way it is :~D
Thanks for bumping the thread though... the lack of response indicates this maybe this is only happening to me ???
I didn't know 'bout the function till this thread - thnks
I usually leave it open all the time while I'm at the computer... it's nice... and lets you know when someone answers your post.
It always worked fine till now.
I don't think it's a popup issue, I added FR to the list of sites in the popup blocker... still get the error.
then uncheck show go button, check empty temp files...closed
From your screen shot...why don't you just hit the (lower left) mini screen to view correspondence ? >View Posts
I can, but it's not working right... I get that popup in the middle of the screen every time there's a new one.
I had trouble with AOL after the upgrade and had to reset my computer back to an earlier time period when it worked.
AOL? I'd rather have an updated computer than a working AOL? How come you're still using AOL?
Then when all is working fine...DUMP INTERNET EXPLORER for goodness' sake.
Thanks... I've got Firefox... It just seems like it's changing religions.
Not that I'm preaching the Firefox gospel. It's just that I've seen a huge difference on every system I have done this on. IE loses every time.
lol I never knew about this. Thanks for having a problem and making me aware of it! ;^)
I don't get any spyware now...
My husband likes Firefox, I'm sure it would work fine, but this thing worked fine until yesterday and I'd like to think it would just work again ;~D
To me, a browser's a browser's a browser. It's just a window web pages appear in.
