The next most memorable event was the Knicks title run in the playoffs in 1973,beating the Celtics to get to the finals and than the Lakers for the championship.
Cut in half spread with butter and served with a nice hot cup of tea.
I prefer mine toasted - dad likes his cold (hot cross buns that is - LOL)
Wow, you have a great memory, snugs. Thanks.
Regarding tax trivia. You ought to know this one, try it...
Which U. S. President was responsible for the largest Federal Income Tax cut in the 20th century? It wasn't Clinton.
Sometimes, yes.
There are a few teas that I truly enjoy. Among them are blackcurrant, Earl Grey, and English Breakfast. Japanese Green Tea is one of my favourite teas. For the most part, I am a coffee man.
HAPPY EASTER!
1- Hands down winner for me.... Robin Ventura of the Chichago White Sox getting hit by a Nolan ryan curveball. Ventura rushes the mound and Nolan just pummels him in the most Christian way possible. :)
2- Kevin Arnold's and Winnie Cooper's first kiss on "The Wonder Years". I was either 10 or 11 at the time and the same age as the characters, and that's defined romance for me ever since.
3- Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones in "The Mask of Zorro". This is the hottest dance scene I've seen that didn't have the couple strip naked immediately afterwards. :)
I'll post one in a little while . . . it's kinda long, and I'm typing it now.
Sorry - still here. I sent you a PM.
Are you ready for Daleks tonight?
I am indeed! I am going to catch the 11:00pm showing since I missed the first airing tonight.
I haven't seen "The Mask of Zorro." I didn't know they danced either.
Anything that involves Catherine Zeta-Jones will earn my vote.
OK, great. :-)
Can't stand Earl Grey, breakfast tea is OK I just drink cheap ordinary tea which I suppose in taste is nearer breakfast tea but cheaper.
I am not keen on hot fruit teas either but I do like ice tea.
Thanks. I'll take a look.
[screaming like a gay fairy]
OMG! Go rent it NOW!
I hear you. The scene in "Entrapment" where she works her way around the lasers is just awesome.
That basically made the movie for me.
