Cartoon Wars Part II
Original air Date: 2006-04-12
After leaving Kyle injured on the side of the road, Cartman races to the headquarters of Family Guy determined to put an end to the show once and for all.
Huh?
But don't forget the Catholic episode that was pulled after its initial airing
The bleeding Mary episode? I wasn't aware that it was pulled.
I think that not showing MO was the way to make their point. This two part episode had a lot of levels. It was a total dig at CC and I don't think that the writers ever intended to show MO.
I never saw that episode but I heard of it. It's just as well. I'm not Catholic but I would probably have been offended and that's the great thing about the remote. If I can't stomach what they are doing I just change the channel and watch something else. No one is killed over it and I don't expect them to pull episodes for little old me.
Whoops. I stand corrected.
They showed the Mary episode.
lol. I was typing too fast and left out the word 'sure'
sorry for the confusion ;)
Pulling certain shows just because someone is "offended" is wrong
It's WRONG!
The first airing, yes. But CC did pull rebroadcasts for a while.
That's the conclusion I've come to.
If I was president of Comedy Central, I'd cancel South Park and issue a statement that fart jokes aren't funny anymore. Any executive at CC is going to have to do something drastic now to prove they've still get testicles.
You may be right. Either way, a brilliant episode.
LOL ... I figured it was either "sure" or "not sure" that was left out. Thanks for clarifying.
They have also shown Muhammed in the past in the Super Best Friends Episode:
Do you want to get your head cut off? They'll pull a jihad on your a$$ just for looking at those images!
Yes. Of course.

I'd like to point out that I didn't notice a bumbling, idiotic monkey-like President Bush in this episode . . .

I meant everyone else on Comedy Central, not South Park. CC makes moveon.org look like Barry Goldwater.
Matt & Trey have offended Muslims a number of times already.
I think this was more of a comment on the Comedy Central management and ownership than on what Matt & Trey are or are not willing to say.
You are not going to believe this sh!t:
"Al-Qaida's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri praised insurgents in Iraq particularly Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and called on all Muslims to support them in a video posted Thursday on the Internet."
