Sounds like it could be interesting.

The real Mothman story is fascinating. However, the Richard Gere movie "The Mothman Prophecies" was an awful film that made no sense.

We'll be passing by Point Pleasant on the way to and from Virginia Beach within the coming week. Don't know if we'll have time to make a quick detour to the TNT area. We'll see.

I've never been a believer in UFOs and the paranormal. Put another way, I've never experienced them. I think certain people are more attuned to the invisible world and thus experience things differently than do I.

Watched The Mothman Prophecies on DVD last evening and found it to be a hyped up version of what has been related by those who experienced the abnormal manifestations in 1966 and 1967. Had never heard of this series of events until the other day when an acquaintance learned we were driving through the area soon and suggested we check out the story.

Knew a Lutheran Pastor several years ago who gave occasional presentations on his experience with the occult when he was younger. He said no one was able successfully to record his presentation. For example, on playback the tape was blank, or it had radio communications from surrounding bus traffic. I ordered the tape from the presentation I heard, and it, too, was not available due to technical difficulties.

Wow! Just like the one at the Clinton Presidential Library.

One attention grabber is the "death list" displayed prominently in the middle of the museum. It draws connections between the sudden or strange deaths of those associated in some way with the Mothman legend.
