You need to put it into perspective...
My Marlin 60 pee shooter will hold 18 rounds and one in the chamber where as my Remington 78 holds 5 rounds with a much bigger blast and shoots further to boot.
When he grows up, he can exchange his little 22 for a 30-06 and decades later for a single shot 50 cal. (once a week?).
