In a burst of violence in a busy area of downtown Minneapolis, a gunman fired into a crowd late Friday night and killed a 31-year-old man who had been out with a group of friends, authorities said Saturday. If there had only been a law against shooting someone with a gun this tragedy would not have occurred.
Perhaps, and this is a radical suggestion, crazies should not be allowed to have guns. And, Gasp!, perhaps crazies should not be allowed to roam the streets. And, Gasp!, perhaps the city/state/police should do something about their behavior.
Just a thought.
If I were an Oliver Stone conspiracy nut, I would think the gun-control crowd made this happen to strengthen their fear tactics and get laws to make ALL give up their firearms. Naaah! Those GT genuises would never stoop so low.</sarcasm>

The Rev. Ian Bethel, who heads the city's PCRC, said: "We've got to get a hold on these guns."
ok, which is it? the shooters or the guns fault?
Minnetonka's.
I don't consider drug offenses to be "minor," but if the Minneapolis police do, then I guess that explains why they have a crime problem. And I would guess that the guy had committed other offenses that were not prosecuted much less punished. If they'd thrown the book at this guy before, he would not have been on the street and committed this murder.
It always seems to me, gun control fanatics have no clue how easy it is to manufacture a gun.
I thought Mars Attacks was a fun movie, but I never thought there might be useful information there. That opera music must have been murder on those kids ears.
