There were several in the Midwest. I live in Northwest IL and we had two, one in Moline, Il and one in Davenport, IA. I live in a bi-state region.

The chain is gone now though, unfortunately. Had a major food poisoning incident a few years back, 3 people died, hundreds sick.

I have many great memories though. Met my hubby there.

Actually, I'm a naturalized citizen born to American parents. I was born in Havana, Cuba back when you got to America on a DC-6 not a homemade raft.

My dad was palying winter baseball in Cuba and my mom spent the winter in Havava.

What a life.
