I used to have outdoor cats. Pine martens got one, coyotes
got another, still another just walked off, and another caught a bug, got sick and died, and every time my wife was an emotional wreck for a week. Now our cats are always at home, we have cardinals and titmice on the feeders, and they don't get sick.

Afraid of a cat? This isn't a cougar for Crissake...
If charged by a cat, just kick them away.

How do you put a picture in a post?
To: hispanarepublicana
That's endangered wildlife if ever I've seen it. I think at that point the bird had passed the "endangered"
stage and entered the "fun-food" category! ;-)

and the oeople in New England wonder why most of the country laughs at them............. ka-BOOM .... ka-gone Oh come on, be reasonable.
There are probably multiple ordinances about discharging a gun within city limits, etc. Silly, but rules are rules.
OTOH: a Louiville Slugger, or even a good 3 wood, would bring no such repercussions. Nor would have to worry about errant pellets / bullets.
"Well, hello there Lewis. My name is D-Day!"
Whooossshhhh........thud.
