What a lovely post ZM! I enjoyed this so much because I always stop to pick up a penny, believing in the notion that they are 'signs from above'.
I hope you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I haven't wanted to 'bother' you with Freepmail so post my feelings here.
What a wonder you are to post beaustiful messages to us during your illness!
Thanks so much for the update....I have been thinking about you a lot, especially yesterday.
I am continuing to pray hard for you...and will send good vibes...God be with the doctors, you and your family, ZM...
Let us know if you need anything...and please keep us updated, tell us when you will have surgery again.

Perhaps the Lord is using this time for that purpose and I pray He will restore you to health when that work is done.
We're lifting you up before the Lord! Maybe it will please Him to solve this entire problem for you and everybody will be amazed. :-) Keep us posted and we'll keep you in our prayers!
Thanks for the update, you will continue to be in prayers. May God heal you quickly and completely.
Thanks for the update, and I'll keep sending cyberhugs and prayers your way.
Prayers from TX
Prayers for you still going up.
Dear ZM:
You are an awesome example in courage!! Here are some more evening and nighttime prayers from "The Book of Common Prayer" (Anglican) and "The Book of Divine Worship" (Roman Catholic). The language is so beautiful and expresses our thoughts so eloquently. I hope these will be useful to you:
O God, from whom all holy desires, all good counsels, and all just works doth proceed: Give unto thy servants that peace which the world cannot give, that our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments, and also that by thee, we, being defended from the fear of all enemies, may pass our time in rest and quietness; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
Lighten our darkness, we beseech thee, O Lord; and by thy great mercy defend us from all perils and dangers of this night; for the love of thine only Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
O God, who art the life of all who live, the light of the faithful, the strength of those who labor, and the repose of the dead: We thank thee for the timely blessings of the day, and humbly beseech thy merciful protection all the night. Bring us, we pray thee, in safety to the morning hours; through him who died for us and rose again, thy Son our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lord Jesus, stay with us, for evening is at hand and the day is past; be our companion in the way, kindle our hearts, and awaken hope, that we may know thee as thou art revealed in Scripture and the breaking of bread. Grant this for the sake of thy love. Amen.
Be present, O merciful God, and protect us through the hours of this night, so that we who are wearied by the changes and chances of this life may rest in your eternal changelessness; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Look down, O Lord, from your heavenly throne, and illumine this night with your celestial brightness; that by night as by day your people may glorify your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Visit this place, O Lord, and drive far from it all snares of the enemy; let your holy angels dwell with us to preserve us in peace; and let your blessing be upon us always; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
O God, your unfailing providence sustains the world we live in and the life we live: Watch over those, both night and day, who work while others sleep, and grant that we may never forget that our common life depends upon each others toil; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Guide us waking, O Lord, and guard us sleeping; that awake we may watch with Christ, and asleep we may rest in peace.
Continued prayers are offered for you this evening.
Prayers for your (and your husband's) strength, courage and comfort and prayers for wisdom for your doctors.
What a nice story about the pennies. In God we trust, indeed!! What an awesome God we have!
What a precious person you are not just to those of us on here but to all that come in contact with you. Thank you for the update on how things are going.
Prayers and supporting surrounding you day and night Zacs Mom.
Keep it up! God will definitely be on your corner in this fight!
Dear Zacs Mom,
Thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful, uplifting and brilliantly insightful philosophy. You are so special. :)
Have had you in thought and prayer - thinking about your remarkable attitude and came across this that reminded me of you -
God bless and keep you and your family in His providential care. We are keeping you in our prayers.
There you go again, giving us so much when we came here to give something to you! I just found a shiny penny yesterday. Usually I leave them for a child to find, but I picked that one up. It made me smile. Now I know to look for the inscription "In God We Trust". I won't miss it again.
I'm glad for the update; I've been thinking of you all weekend. You've already won the first battle with this illness. You're not letting it get you down. Keep that positive attitude and faith in God as you face this challenge. We're here for you with our prayers, love and good wishes.
Thank you for the update. Prayers have been going up, and will continue to go up for you.
