Hey Echo!
I thought Elliott did pretty good tonight.
I'd put Ace and Paris in the bottom 2...
Tradesports had Ace at $53 and Bucky at $45.
I thought Taylor and Pickler did the best.

Paris was the best this evening. I voted for her. Interesting the one guy from Queen said "the thing about Paris is, she's damn good!"
Catherine, Chris and Ace were also good. This was Ace's and Elliot's BEST performance.
It was also Taylor's best performance. He picked a song with very little range, just perfect for his voice. He actually appeared to have some talent for once.
Bucky was okay.

Elliot has replaced Chicken Little with the Granny squad.
Got news for you....he's got a lot of women who love his voice and there are plenty of R&B/Jazz fans who like him as well.

Why does Taylor think he can dance? I wish he had stuck with his first choice. This was Elvis. I agree with all of the above. But his performance was fun to watch, FWIW.

Okay, my two cents...
Bucky: Good song choice for him, but still booooring.
Ace: Dude, you are so not a rocker. Try humility too, while you're at it. If not, try out for a soap opera. Trust me, you'll be the star you so desperately want to be. The bonus? Only your looks will matter.
Kellie: Love her, but it wasn't one of her better nights, and the band was too loud. (They are often.)
Chris: I love the fact that he picked an obscure song. Besides, he had his "moment" when he sang "Walk The Line". Tonight showed his vocal power. He's like the new Jim Morrison for me. (And I forgive him the eyeliner since it was Queen night.)
Katharine: I'm not one of her biggest fans, but she has an incredible voice.
Elliott: Bad choices in the song. I just don't "get him".
Taylor: I love him. Lovehimlovehimlovehim. Great song choice, great vocal choices. He's a doll.
In my opinion, they're all decent singers, but there are only three true artists. Chris, Taylor, and
Paris: I always find it hard to believe that she is only seventeen, not only because of her vocal power but because, like the two aforementioned guys, she has got the music in her. She'll still be recording when she's sixty, and I'll still be buying her albums.
Thank you as always for hosting the thread!

Paris looked darn good. She is very versatile, and her voice has fantastic range and power.

Elliott showed people that he can sing. He is a piker on stage compared to Taylor in terms of working the crowd and being a showman but he's got legit pipes and is not afraid to go up the vocal stack.

"pitchy" is missing notes by a little bit -- a little bit under or a little bit over.
Brass players and singers often have better ears to hear "pitchiness" (overall) although lots of people can hear it as well.
Frequently, loud singing overcomes "pitchiness" since the sound waves are longer and mask the missed notes.

Stop being such a crank, Simon. Yeah. He was overly harsh with some of them, but he was in a better mood than Country night last week.

Exactly!
This is why I vote for him every week. He should be in this thing a bit longer. I like the DJ thing he did tonight. It showed that he can have fun too.
