Ping!

The Church of Scientology is evil and its members should all burn in hell...and that's just for roping Travolta into making "Battlefield Earth".
Nanoo Nanoo! Shozbot! Klaktu-Verata-Nicktoo!
I think it's time for a sequel to Team America....hold that, a Team America made for TV series, run it at the same time as Jon Stewart's Daily Droppings show. He could even play the part of a comedian in it.
They better get started on it today then :~D
Nicely done on the 'ode' Tom.
Head's up - Scarborough (7 pm on the west coast) will be covering the Tom versus South Park story tonight on MSNBC :~D
Why do I have a sneaking suspicion this is all a publicity stunt and we'll see its fruits on Wednesday?
Although I formly believe the Church of Scientology is a misdirected cult, the film 'Battlefield Earth' did amazingly reflect some serious study into the the nature of angels. I suspect the aliens depicted much closer represent many a breed of fallen angel and a fallen perspective of holy angels than many other depictions.
Just remember when watching the film that it is intended to deceive and is presented as though it were science fiction and imaginative rather than based on any serious study of that domain.
Good stuff, Tom!
Thanks for the heads up, HOTD. :)
Nothing is up yet at the official SP site regarding this Wednesday's episode, so I expect it's going to be "topical." ;) (we can only hope)
No matter what, we'll be suprised :~D
I don't think it's all a publicity stunt but I do hope we'll see a counter attack this Wednesday. :D~
Does he die in a horrible kitchen Accident?
Get blown up by rogue Scientologists?
Get kidnapped by aliens and subjected to permanent anal probes?
Shave off his hair, lose his voice, and go out on walkabout?
Be caught in a mad Gay love affair with Tom Cruise and leave South Park in Shame?
Get mauled by Mecha-Striesand?
Get eaten by Sally Struthers?
C'mon FReepers let's start the "how does Chef get it" pool
Weren't these guys watching their own programming? Don't they know you don't EVER mess with Cartman?
FYI, for your ping list maybe?

Chef's Quitting Controversy
Monday, March 20, 2006
By Roger Friedman
Isaac Hayes did not quit "South Park." My sources say that someone quit it for him.
I can tell you that Hayes is in no position to have quit anything. Contrary to news reports, the great writer, singer and musician suffered a stroke on Jan. 17. At the time it was said that he was hospitalized and suffering from exhaustion (excerpt)
Interesting, and I hope it's not true.
I did see Matt and Trey comment on the Chef thing on Letterman, and I'd have thought if he was actually in ailing health they'd know.
Can't wait!!
