Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

AOL crashed my first computer twice, and I couldn't delete it until I used a recovery disk. Of course, I have been a crusader against it ever since, but I have a friend in TX who swears by it and claims that all her computer problems with other programs are the other programs' fault.
She can't install anything without problems. DUH!

"BTW what are our immigration rule in regards to Mars?" Immigration rules will be established by whoever decides to settle here, and has the military force to back up his decision.
So far, no one of our group has suggested they might want to stay.
It is rather appealing, endless vistas, no traffic, no taxes...

Update:
Tomorrow morning, at 06:00 Mars local time, six of our Shuttles will be released to make excursions to various destinations around the planet.
Each one must have two qualified pilots, and file a proper flight profile. We will monitor your progress, and will be ready to send any help you may require if you get into difficulty.
One is scheduled to go to Olympus Mons, landing as close to the summit as possible.
Another will be cruising through Valles Marineris, on a basically photographic expedition, but it will land in several locations to pick up soil and rock samples.
Others will be dispatched to various requested destinations.
Note that whenever possible, the compressors for each Shuttle should be used to replenish propellant gas.
The excursions may stay out for as long as needed, but it is anticipated that none will be gone longer than two weeks. Allocate your supplies according to your particular ships schedule.
You are encouraged to keep a log and to share with us on a periodic basis what wonders you have observed.
The rest of us will still be enjoying the stability and hospitality of our Flying Castle base camp.
Later, after these events are studied, we may expand the program to additional Shuttles and destinations. Eventually, everyone who wishes to should have been able to see the major tourist destinations of Mars.
Take lots of photographs!

Americans are gradually becoming educated as to what is the truth about a lot of things, and when enough of them get pi$$ed off by the bill of goods they've been sold, they will change who they vote for.To whom?

The place where the changes will likely come is in the primaries. Just because you are the candidate today doesn't mean that you will be tomorrow.
Another place is in the state government. Many of the problems have come from the fact that some cities (Seattle for one) have passed ordnances forbidding their police to even inquire if someone arrested is illegal, much less report it to the INS.

Rainy morning. Mailed pictures of Vlad to my mother. In the afternoon, we took Sally to gymnastics and went to the grocery store and the library. Vlad's been spitting, but we expect that :-).
He's going to the doctor next Tuesday. Elen (#4) will also go, to get her checkup for Girl Scout camp.
Yesterday I picked up some craft supplies from a Girl Scout leader who's moving to a smaller house, and I'll let the kids make something tomorrow!

Whoa! I keep forgetting how busy a house is with lots of short people in it. I grew up in a "large" family, but my own is only two kids. I still think I missed a lot.

Then what?

Are you going to be able to run people who are actually committed to changing this?

But it still comes down to Rep, or Dem. You go with the one you agree with the most. I find it amusing when some people declare that they will vote LP. The LP platform is actually worse then the Dem when it comes to the border.
Are you going to be able to run people who are actually committed to changing this?
Able yes. Will we? Some. Others we can just press a bit. And on a state level it is much easier to put pressure on them. My State Rep for example lives only about eight blocks from me. Getting in to see him is as easy as going to his office and knocking on the door. He, BTW, knows me by name. :)
Georgia will be an interesting test case to see if the states stepping up to the plate will make a difference. I am betting it will.

Is a 'state rep' a governor, a senator, or a congressman?

None of the above. He is my districts representative to the state house. His official title is State Representative.
On the state level our government is set up like the US government only smaller.
Since these are the guys and gals that you are more likely to know then that is where you start.

It is busy! I'm trying to talk my mother into inviting me to their Retirement Community for a restful interlude, but I'd have to take Vlad, and he Spits!
