Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!
Posted on 03/19/2006 6:29:28 AM PST by thousand dollar hamburger
I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

My train's pretty crazy, too :-).
Anoreth put your dog-and-squirrel poem on a website she frequents, devoted to the "Redwall" books: medieval costume action-dramas featuring rodents. No response before her bedtime, but I think you'll be a hit tomorrow!
And that's it for me for the night. Vlad's hungry AGAIN.

It's a me thing.
Taste and texture are very important. Appearance is as well.
For me the esthetic's of image in my head is more important than the vision of the product on a plate.
I don't know if you ate Einstein or not.

Enlightenment in regard to what? Enlightenment is personal understanding. Not certainty perhaps, but a general agreement about how the Universe works.
What kinds of things?
Such "things" as the doctrine of original sin, or the purpose and meaning of sacrifice.
And why do you trust that that enlightenment corresponds to truth?
It doesn't even have to, but it is my compass direction to follow.
Speaking of comfort, these matters are painfully introspective for me, and possibly not a fit subject for this casual discussion arena. I'm ready for a beer, and there aren't any in the house.

I know, it's confusing - other towns near me have easy to translate names - Claremorris is the exception (though I'm sure I must have been taught that in school, don't remember...) Consider yourself lucky. Around here we have names like Enumclaw (are we enumerating claws?), Snohomish (it's like having snow at home), Puyallup (pronounced, "Pew! wallup" -- strikiing a blow at nasty smells?), Sammamish (is Sam Amish?), Snoqualmie (yes, snow calms me) and the unforgettable Humptulips (ain't goin' there, no way).

I've tried it at least a dozen times, and still don't like it. Maybe the cooks were at fault. I just couldn't handle it. If you are expecting "chocolate" it will be a huge disappointment. But as "mole" I love it.

Dang, Sion! You've missed a lot.
Happy Resurrection Day! Thank you! Yes I have, and I fear it will continue for at least a few weeks, until life regains some normality again.
