Why I Support President Bush and the ZOT!

I think he has a sincere desire to help everyone. he has even gone out of his way to embrace people like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy. He does not hold grudges as shown by his willingness to bend over backwards to allow terrorist supporting nations to operate our ports. We need this type of benevolent leader.
Our President is not a cheapskate, as he has opened up our budget to give to anyone who might need anything.
Aliens from all nations are welcomed into our great country without having to deal with mundane bureaucratic State approval. Cutting government red tape -- that's the Bush way!
Yes, our Prseident even realizes that occupying as many countries around the world as possible is the best way to spread American ideals.
We are truly lucky to have this great man. I suggest that at 10:00 AM EST, we all stand up in unison and shout -- HOORAY FOR BUSH!!!

I believe Luther's service was a lot like the Catholic Mass, am I right about that?
Subtracting the prayers for the dead, the invocation of the saints, and incense, yes. We still use a lot of liturgy and traditional hymns. Vestments, seasonal colors, baptismal fonts, cantors, and all the rest.
It isn't surprising that there is quite a bit of intermarriage between Roman Catholics and confessional Lutherans.

It isn't surprising that there is quite a bit of intermarriage between Roman Catholics and confessional Lutherans. I can imagine so, I haven't seen that for myself - we don't have many Lutherans in Ireland - we have mainly Anglican, Presbyterain and Methodist among the Irish Protestant community.

I am not comfortable with those who say they have a faith, and that they are unwilling to examine it. They accept this condition in what to me is a blindness.
Nor do I side with the unrelenting skeptics, who demand incontrovertible evidence for everything. If it cannot be proven, then it may as well not exist for them.
So far you've listed my personal conditions!
These are too often poles apart. I tread a middle ground, seeking to understand, not in revelation, but in enlightenment.
Enlightenment in regard to what? What kinds of things? And why do you trust that that enlightenment corresponds to truth?
Don't think for a second that I'm asking these things to be confrontational. There will be no showdown at the U.T. Corral this evening.

Let me just say this: There is a foundation--the Outsider Foundation, and it is helping to rescue Canadian children from being pelted by snowballs with dirt in them by declaring itself a homeless shelter for refugee Canadian children. Some would refer to this as a tax dodge. Of course, they've never attended a service at Our Lady of Accumulating Moola (which is also a not-for-profit organization).
Clears things up, doesn't it?
