It isn't surprising that there is quite a bit of intermarriage between Roman Catholics and confessional Lutherans. I can imagine so, I haven't seen that for myself - we don't have many Lutherans in Ireland - we have mainly Anglican, Presbyterain and Methodist among the Irish Protestant community.
