Paramount executives should have reminded Cruise that he signed a contract and that failure to participate in promotion of the movie would be used as grounds in the suit to stop payment or recover a considerable portion of his salary for the movie.

One of the best episodes ever. I still laugh when I think about it!

I do not watch South Park but I have seen Tom Cruise in movies..Which I will not ever again since he seems to be wacky like the rest of the Hollyweird crowd..If he thinks that he as a Scientology member can control anything the media does he needs to think again..From what I have heard from past member of the cult he needs to find another religion..along with the other Hollywood weirdo's that belong to this organization..

'Series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have been told not to discuss the matter - to avoid embarrassing Cruise as they did Isaac Hayes last week LOL... somehow, I think telling these two guys 'not to discuss the matter' to 'avoid embarrassing' someone is like poking a Rottweiler with a sharp stick.

I hope Haye's replacement is good. The difference between teh old and new Flinstone voices is disatrous. Chef's voice is an integral part of the character.

Something weird is going on with Cruise. I mean weirder than normal. Cruise and Travolta have been Scientologists forever. Travolta was always talking about it. Cruise never discussed it publically much at all. I remember when Battlefield Earth came out, and Cruise refused to comment on it publically. Travolta was busy yapping his gums at how brilliant L. Ron Hubbard was. Then, the last two years or so, ever since Cruise divorced Nicole Kidman, he has become Super Scientologist. I am wondering if the church has some dirt on him.

The thing that surprised me most in this article is learning there is going to be a MI III. Mission Impossible II was so mindbendingly bad I thought that series was dead and buried. I seem to recall something like a guy doing a headstand on a motorcycle while it was doing a wheelie, holding an Uzi in each hand and shooting out cars coming from opposite directions - lots of realistic stuff like that. It was much more of a cartoon than South Park could ever be.

PR hack Pat Kingsley deserves a Lifetime Achievement Oscar for managing to hide Tom Cruise's megalomania so well for so many years.
