Paramount executives should have reminded Cruise that he signed a contract and that failure to participate in promotion of the movie would be used as grounds in the suit to stop payment or recover a considerable portion of his salary for the movie.

Yes, they should have, but they didn't remind of of contractual obligations, did they? They just caved. My family of guys will undoubtedly see this in DVD, but at least not at the movies. No way.

I think that MI3 will be just as bad as War of the Worlds.

I think I've viewed my last Tom Cruise movie. The guy has mental problems, no sense of humor, and an ego the size of Manhattan.
