Who in their right mind pays $35,000 a year to hit a little ball around with a stick?

This was an investment club. I seem to recall the old adage about proceeding with one at your risk. No one forced Connery into taking up a membership with them.

(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")

Did Sean have a contract stating the terms signed and in writing that he is taking about?

I don't blame Connery at all. The owner of the club is a crook.

You know, I've considered the $ I've spent on movies an investment, and well, with Hollywood being so hopelessly beyond repair and so raft with liberalism, well, the only fair thing is that I should be refunded all the money I've paid for all the movies I've ever seen, plus some extra, too, for good measure. I think $600,000 will do.

Come to think of it, I consider the groceries I've eaten to be an investment. I paid good money, and now it's all down the toilet! I think the value of that food has dropped dramatically, it's mostly compost now. Clearly I've been duped, and should be compensated.

And my car! I paid tens of thousands of dollars for it, and a few days later, I find out that I need to keep putting gas in it constantly! Why was I not informed of this substantial additional expense at the time of purchase? I should be compensated.

Clearly Sean has been ripped off and should be compensated. But if I consider all the bad Bond movies since he quit starring in 'em, well, that's a class action suit right there, bud.

I've often considered suing a golf club...usually the one iron.
